XPS 10: Bone Weight Question [Answered]

After copying bones and editing them in Blender 2.49b, I export it and prepare it for use in XPS 10. However, sometimes bone weights will randomly change after I convert to .mesh.ascii to .mesh. I know this because random mesh pieces move randomly. I've checked back in Blender to make sure that the weights are correct, which they are.

Sometimes, it will work to export the .mesh in XPS as a .mesh.ascii and import into Blender 2.49b. Typically, that will fix the problem by revealing randomly added weights on certain vertex groups. But sometimes, no matter how much I fix them, the weights still go back to bad weights after converting and entering XPS.

The only problem I currently have are some weights for the left leg appearing to be on the right leg. Hopefully that's as far as the errors will go.

Does anyone have any ideas/solutions?! Thank you!

I noticed that on some models if you go to edit mode and remove doubles, it will mess up the weights sometimes.

It's weird, but it works if you restore it to the original version.
